By using a company-wide ERP system, we can provide complete material management for our customers, such as control of free issue material, consignment stocks and Kanban, along with financial, project and quality management to ensure that everything meets ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

We recognise that our activities have an impact on the environment, and actively work with our business partners for energy efficient product design and waste reduction. At Zirkon we review our practices on a regular basis in order to ensure that adverse environmental impacts are kept to a minimum, and that members of staff are protected as well as being environmentally aware. Kelvin Pass, Managing Director

In 1999 Kelvin seized an opportunity that would offer him the chance to realise his ambition of forming a progressive sub contracting business. Along with his fellow board members, he set out to develop a company that would be able to tailor its service to individual customer’s needs. A company where flexibility, quality and high standards of customer care are taken for granted.

Kelvin joined the company with a solid track record in business restructuring, returning non-profit making organisations to profitability, manufacturing and information technology. These expertises originate from his time spent within the automotive and electronics industries, working for major companies such as the Rover Group, ITT and the Tunstal Group. Now as MD of Zirkon Limited, Kelvin’s key role is to provide strategic direction and overall co-ordination of the day-to-day running of the business.

Tony Inskip, Sales & Marketing Director

Tony is responsible for Business Development, Marketing and Customer Support ensuring that Zirkon Limited maintains and develops its business based on high levels of customer understanding and personalised working relationships.

Tony’s business knowledge originates from working in various sales and marketing roles within blue chip companies, in particular Leyland DAF, Clayton Dewandre (Wabco) and Automotive Products.

David Cox, Engineering Director

David is responsible for design, development and testing. He provides a high level of technical knowledge and support, and with his partnership approach to product design and development, he is able to fully understand the customers specific needs, ensuring cost effective engineering solutions are achieved.

David’s electronics experience has been gained in various roles with major companies including EMI, AVX, Rover and Turner & Newell. He was one of the original Econocruise team that designed and developed the market leading speed limiter.
